BEJJ Limited were the Infrastructure Design Leaders within the Amey Arup JV, managed and coordinated between the various disciplines and other consultants during Stage 3 Preliminary Scheme Design of the Tranche 5 Smart Motorway Projects.

Developed a robust Target price to be taken forward to the detail design. Managed, supervised, and provided technical input to the Highway Design Teams, attended Inter-Disciplinary Design reviews and workshops. Regularly reported on progress and discussed technical issues with Client.

Managed and reported on budgetary and resource matters.

Primarily involved in the coordination and preparation of the Preliminary 3D Road and Infrastructure Designs to UK Standards. In accordance with BIM PAS1192 requirements, Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and BIM Execution Plan (BEP)

Managed technical Change Events (CE) including risk and financial analysis and negotiations with the Client. Regularly chaired technical meetings with Highway England’s PSCRG, DES, SES and NRTS to agree the developing detailed design.
